Turkey includes 3 fault lines the North Anatolian Fault Line, the East Anatolian Fault Line and the West Anatolian Fault Line.

Since my project is about an earthquake resistant building I chose a city which is  Izmir in Turkey that is very common to earthquakes and the land in part of the Buca in Izmir one of the safest parts for earthquakes .
