Research: 25 Garden

 25 Garden by Luciano Pia

In Turin ,  Italy  , 25 Garden  by Luciano Pia inspired me on  many ways for my design especially the way he gathered urban and nature which it is also one of my main aims for my project  . 25 Garden has industrial theme which is different than my theme which is primitivism however the such as sustainability and some of the design aims are shared characteristic between them .

One of the stunning part of this structure is the growing trees each two  balconies has per flats and the solution for the growing trees which is designed to allow trees growing with outer grids . Total 150 trees in big pots on the terraces except providing oxygen  also helps noise minimization (Astbury, 2015). My balcony design related to balcony qualities of this structure by the planters each balcony has and filled with the domestic plants like  .

The resulting vertical forest is inseparable from the building : in the architects words , cutting down one of these trees would be equal to demolishing a part of the structure . (Yudina, 2017)

The vegetation is irrigated with water from a rainwater harvesting system (Yudina, 2017) which is has important role on this building sustainable design. Relevant to my project because this system affect me to consider being sustainable with rain water and like in this structure have it I am going to use same system for the plans an in addition because climate of the Leicester the rain water collected from roof also can be usable bathrooms also . This system one of the major quality in my project because its effect %50 water saving .
