Research : Francis Kere
My second inspiration comes from Francis Kere Pavilion design in London which is named Serpentine Pavilion .
My project related and had the inspiration for the lean-on part at the back of the structure for the coverage from weather conditions for the playing area . This part related because of the centre of the Pavilion , France Kere design that part to crate a waterfall effect for the people while its raining due to roof structure of it and the water goes the drainage system which is hidden under the ground (Taylor-Foster, 2017) .
My project lean-on aiming to create same waterfall scene as well and will be connected to the rainwater collection system which is one of the system I used last term Harmony project for Art Portfolio 1 .
In addition he used steel and transparent skin covering structure for allowing sunlight to inside which is I am going to use same structure method for the lean-on due to provide natural lighting to inside of the main building.
