Green Roof

Green Roof has a positive impact to environment while extend the usage of roof .It is absorb the heat from sun , absorb CO2 , rain water and also it is effect the insulation for summer it causes the cooling and for the winter cause the heating (Pullen and June 2020, 2021) . There is three type of green roof systems intensive for small areas like private house , extensive is for the bigger areas even allows the low growing plants , semi-extensive has deeper depth of earth which allows more type of plants (permagard, 2019) . I am going to use extensive green roof system because keep the cost lower in many ways . It is still allow to step on it for the pupils .

Rain Harvesting System 

Rainwater harvesting means collecting rainwater from roofs and storing it underground. To make my project better for the environment, I will add this system to roofs. We can reuse the rainwater for plants or toilets (Vartan, 2022) . I am going to collect the water from gutters at the roof and the water grills around the building at the ground . The other positive effects of rainwater harvesting are lower water bills. For my project I will use an indirect system which uses gravity for the pressurising water to the upper floors and can work without extra power .
